See You Down The Road - Midnight Cowboy (2026)

Though newly formed in 2024, Midnight Cowboy brings together three experienced local musicians who have forged a refined chemistry. Their debut album is rooted in the poetry of local writer Yam Gong; whether spoken or sung, improvised jamming fills the unsaid spaces. Juxtaposing restraint with outburst, and poetry with rock, the band conceals precise control beneath a layer of primal chaos. Midnight has arrived; these modern cowboys board a bus draped in velvet blue and, amidst hysterical laughter, gallop toward the darkness. “See you down the road.”

Not Grand Love – Xiaofan 孫曉凡 (2026)　

If anthropological fieldwork leaves behind any lasting habit, perhaps it is this: trust the observation before the conclusion. Not Grand Love reads like an extension of that habit: a record in no hurry to reach a verdict. On the cover, the piano among the pines looks like an observation point she chose for herself. The synth’s faint flicker, the piano’s ostinato locking into a tight rhythmic pocket with the drums — all of it quietly logs how a feeling grows, how it turns. It’s as if she’s saying love needn’t come with a grand narrative — being heard clearly, just once, is enough.
