New Diggings｜Ciarán: The ethereal vocalist has officially returned.

Brockhampton’s ethereal vocalist Bearface, after years of silence, has re-emerged under a new identity: Ciarán. Paying homage to his Northern Irish roots, he has announced his debut album Róisín, set for release on November 6, and has already unveiled the lead single “K-Bar.”

On the follow-up single “Galvarino,” he blends alternative R&B with neo-psychedelia, showcasing impressive musical depth through layered vocal textures. The track feels sophisticated yet anchored by memorable riffs that draw you in for repeated listens.

The third single, “Houston,” sounds like D’Angelo transported into the present day, filtered through Dijon’s production sensibility. It’s easily one of my favorite songs of the year, and it has me eagerly anticipating how Ciarán will expand on this sound in his upcoming album.
