New Diggings｜Natanya is reinventing pop music.

Hailing from the UK, Natanya released a two-part EP last year named “Feline’s Return”. With bedroom-pop infused vocals, presented in a 2000s alt-pop aesthetic, production feels professional yet intimate, as Natanya crafted every single song from the EP with delicate fashion.

Her inspirations come from a variety of sources: From Janet Jackson on the first track “Night Freaks”, Amerie on highlight track “On Your Time“, all icons hailing from the 2000s. While you may consider these icons as Y2K, Natanya is reaching a territory within Y2K that is quite underrated - the alt-pop territory. It is underrated for one reason alone: It is damn hard to replicate what the icons did, but Natanya sure can.

This year, Natanya released the single “CANDYLAND!”, extending her alt-pop dominance. Synth strings surrounded by shining arpeggios, with an infectious hook, fans have hailed Natanya as the next Janet Jackson. Natanya will release a full EP in November, and should release more singles in the following months, stay tuned.
